Our neighbor Opus 40 is the life's work of sculptor Harvey Fite who spent 37 years creating an environmental sculpture on over 6 acres. Got Garlic? The Hudson Valley Garlic Festival happens right here every September! This year will be the debut of "Horsin' Around Saugerties" which will feature Artist designed, hand painted carousel horses displayed all around town!

There are many Zagat rated restaurants in the area. New World Home Cooking Co., The Bear Cafe, Cafe Tamayo, Miss Lucy's and Cafe MezzaLuna to name a few. One of the best, The Red Onion, is right across the street!

Hiking nearby Overlook Mountain offers sweeping views of our Catskills. For Skiing, Hunter, Windham and Bellayre Mountains are a short drive away. Also nearby, apple picking, horseback riding, tennis, golf, and canoeing. Try Tubing the Esopus!
